Dan is an expert in Human Resources Strategy, Organizational Workflow and Design, Cross Functional Problem Solving, Expense Control, and Leadership Collaboration.
Dan spent 25 years at Target Corporation, in roles in the stores, human resources, corporate headquarters, recruiting, compensation, and employee relations. He was head of human resources at Mervyn’s and headed stores and corporate human resources at Target.
After Target, Dan led Human Resources at two multibillion dollar corporations, ToysRUs and HBC, and was a member of the Executive Committee at both companies. Dan helped rebuild leadership teams around the world, installed systems to support staffing, development, and retention, and built a highly regarded human resources brands. He also led several expense reduction initiatives.
Dan graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations.
